Box Canyon

A few months ago Ed told us he had planned a family day and asked me to pack a picnic! We were all so excited to see what dad had planned for us! On Saturday morning we loaded up in the truck and headed to Box Canyon in Florence! Ed had grown up riding his quad there and was anticipating sharing it with us. When we got to the edge of the canyon, we all strapped into the Ranger and headed toward the hills.





When we finally got inside, the canyon was full of streams and small rivers! It was so much fun! We crawled over large rocks and flew through the water at Kaili's request! Kingston sat in front and didn't even blink. In some spots the canyon walls were at least 100 feet tall and only 4 feet wide at the bottom! After several hours of riding we stopped to have our picnic. The kids went exploring and found several souvenirs. Nothing like a great ROCK! It was such a beautiful day and the weather was perfect!
