Just Like Little Bear

We recently ventured out to Prescott, Arizona where my family owns a cabin that I grew up going to. I have so many memories that I cherish and now hope to make the same for my children. Kingston's favorite show is Little Bear. Little Bear and his dad love to fish. Kingston told me that he wanted to go "bishing" in a boat with his daddy. Just like Little Bear!

Since Ed and I decided that Kingston was finally old enough to take out on the boat, we planned a very special trip. This was an outing that Ed had been looking forward to since he was a boy.

Kingston loves to sing Little Bears Fishing song!

Come all you young sailors,
and listen to me.
I'll sing you a song of the fish in the sea.
Then blow you in twistrly westrly blow,
Were bound to discover,
So steady she goes!

Kingston's best buddy and cousin Canon came and brought his family too!

Fisherman King looking for Sea Monsters! " Blow the man down, blow the man down, Hey Ho, Oh, Blow the man down..."

Better luck next time King! He didn't find anyone willing to "Trade a Tractor for a sister" and looks like all he caught was Canon!

All the men, decided to catch a movie in town and leave us with the kids. I don't know who had more fun! While the Cat is away the Mice will play! Katie taking Kendra, Cammi, aunt Kathy, cousin Jessica and Carlie for a ride!

I love to see that my kids enjoy the same activities I did as a child! I rock climbed that same mountain too many times to count! Logan even attached a rope to the nearest tree just like Derek used to do!

Now that's a Shack! Let's just say a lot has happened behind those walls! Many mud pies, laughs, fights, "club" break ups, high fives, punches, plans made, and large forest fires almost started! Oh, if walls could talk, what would they say?

If Kingston and Canon weren't in the Ranger they were pushing trucks on the deck. They were so cute in their outer space jammies! Good night Little Boys!
