Kingston's 2nd Birthday

Kingston's Dog House

Dogs Everywhere are Spreading the News that their Favorite Little Boy is Turning Two!

Kingston is absolutely in love with dogs right now! He is constantly pretending to be one by crawling on all fours and sticking his tongue out and barking. So, for his birthday, I wanted to give him a full day of being a dog!

We invited all of his buddies over to share the fun. I also invited a few friends to bring their own real dogs. When the kids arrived they went to a special station to be turned into a puppy! Kingston's grandma painted on a nose and whiskers , gave them a set of ears, and a bag of puppy chow ( cocoa puff cereal.) They all looked so adorable!

When all the puppies were ready they went on a hunt for bones in the yard. I had cut out several bones from cardboard boxes and hid them throughout the yard. The puppy with the most bones got a special prize. A bag of fake poop! For lunch we served hot dogs and bone shaped cheese!

Kingston's dog cake turned out perfect! He loved it! Much thanks to Liz, an amazing baker and artist! Not only are her cakes flawlessly detailed they are craZy delicious! Gimme Some Mo!

After lunch we played puppy games. I had made two "dog houses" from large cardboard boxes. The puppies spent the majority of their time playing in them! We had an obstacle course set up for a race. The puppies had to jump through a hoola hoop, run around the chair, through the dog house, and eat a bowl of puppy chow! They all had lots of fun racing and the parents had even more fun watching!
