Some friends of ours own "Moody Blues," a high end clothing botique in Chandler, and they were opening up a new location in Scottsdale and decided to open the doors with a Black Tie event! It was lots of fun and a good excuse to get dressed up and go out. We first had dinner at Olive & Ivy, which was good but a little over priced for very small portions. Its a good thing Ed always orders 2 entrees!
The party was interesting to say the least. About 10 minutes after the party started we were mingling with some of the biggest "high rollers" in Phoenix. Shaqueil O'Neil, Steve Nash, Raja Bell, John Jay & Rich, just to name a few. Ed and Rhett were so pumped. They looked like kids in a candy store!
Half way through the night this older man ,who knew Ed and Rhett, came over for a chat. He was absolutely hammered. He said Merry Christmas about 20 times in about 5 minutes. He really had his eye on Jessica. My gorgeous friend. Throughout his chat he kept getting closer and closer to Jessica's lips and had his hand on her arm, shoulder and lower back the entire time. He even had a feel on me a couple times. Rhett wanted to deck him!
As if things weren't weird enough a female dancer made her way to a "stage" that seemed to appear from nowhere. She was fully dressed with the boa and all. The older male who was hammered got to know that boa to well if you know what I mean. He was livin' it up! Slowly the layers some how kept disappearing. Let's just say, that's when we hit the doors.
